Park is less than 5 minutes' walk away.
Worcester Cathedral (1 mile)
There has been a church at this site since the seventh century,
and various architectures can be seen including Norman and Gothic. It houses King John's tomb and Prince Arthur's Chantry, as
well as being a home of the Three Choirs Festival.
Worcestershire County Cricket Club (1 mile)
New Road is the home of Worcestershire
County Cricket Club, which claims to be the most picturesque cricket ground in the country.
The Commandery (1 mile)
The Commandery
is England's only dedicated Civil War Centre, and was used a base for Royalist troops during the Civil War. Discover 1000 years
of history in its extensive grounds.
Greyfriars (1 mile)
This historic house was built in 1480 and is now a National Trust site.
It is one of Worcester's finest buildings with family activities during summer months.
Worcester Racecourse at Pitchcroft (0.5 miles)
This
popular venue has a picturesque tree-lined track on the banks of the River Severn. It hosts fine race meetings and is a popular
venue for weddings and events, as well as peaceful walks in the heart of the city.
Worcester also makes an ideal base to explore the
area, with excellent transport links to other nearby towns. These include:
